报告内容简介:
In skin diagnosis and skin biology study, it is highly desirable to visualize the skin microstructures and dynamics as well as perform biochemical analysis of interested microstructures in a non-invasive fashion in vivo. We have developed an integrated system combining video-rate reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM), video-rate multiphoton microscopy (MPM), and micro-Raman spectroscopy to image and achieve accurate Raman spectral measurement of targeting skin microstructures in vivo. The system has been validated by in vivo human skin measurement and quantifying glucose in a single vessel. The system has also been used for two-photon absorption (TPA) based photothermolysis for targeted tissue alteration. TPA based laser treatments (785-nm, 140-fs pulse) of ex vivo mouse skin and RCM/MPM monitoring of the treatment demonstrated localized destruction of dermal fibers without discernible epidermal damage. This suggests great potential of TPA photothermolysis for precisely targeted skin treatment.
 
报告人简介:
曾海山教授1993年获加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚大学博士学位。现任加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚癌症协会杰出科学家,不列颠哥伦比亚大学教授。
曾海山教授主要从事生物医学光子学方面的研究工作,已发表学术论文100多篇,拥有20项国际发明专利,多次获得加拿大癌症医学会、加拿大健康研究院项目资助。他所研发的实时荧光内窥镜检查成像系统(LIFE),在国际上首次通过美国FDA认证,在世界150家医院应用;他所开展的人活体肺癌组织拉曼光谱相关研究被评为2011年度加拿大癌研究十大突破之一。
