Hello guys! So, as I had planned to post one article per day for the whole week for the Back to School series, but unfortunately, my laptop encountered a death screen. However, now that it’s restored, I decided to be back with my usual spirit!
So, that being said…today, I’m going to post a DIY in this series to give you guys some ideas on how to spice up your boring stuff. Aka, notebooks and files. This way, you can actually motivate yourself to have fun while studying. Yeah, no, that’s never gonna happen. However, you can at least make it somewhat bearable. Right? Right.
So, here we go! The first DIY is very, very simple and it makes your notebooks so cute and lovable!
Things You Need:
1. Notebooks
2. Colorful computer sheets
3. Markers/highlighters
4. Glue
Procedure:
Put a notebook in front of you and take a colorful computer sheet that looks good on it. Cut it one-third or one-fourth (whatever suits the notebook).
What you can cut it in a shape of bubble, or fold the top-side of the sheet, so that it looks “quote-y”. Play around with it.
Now, paste it on the top of the notebook cover, as if it’s saying something. You can add borders, colorful tapes, or just add a dotted line around the corners.
Once it’s dry, write whatever you’d like: Subject, name, lyrics, or in my case, funky quotes. I wrote quotes on it. The ones that make me happy, confident and over all; satisfied.

And that’s pretty much it for the notebooks. Now for the file. Follow the pics below if you want the exact same. All you have to do is randomly paste things on it, really. What I did was I took one of my heart-shaped sticky notes and pasted it with glue or it would have just fallen out.
Secondly, I added a strip to write a cute quote on it, added stickers and it looked something like this.
I removed the glitter heart, then because it would have made a mess in my bag. So, instead of that, I pasted a cute, embossed sticker and it looked better to me. So, then I added quotes on it, bordered it with marker and it was good to go!
First I took out the side strip and flipped it over. I wrote my name and Desirable Purity on it. Then I put it back in.
Then all the stickers and quotes. This was the final product.

That’s it for today’s post! Hop you liked it. If you did, make sure to “thumbs up” and comment because that always makes me smile!
Also, if you’re an author or you know one, a book cover service is provided by Desirable Purity. Here you go! Also, if you attend this event on Feb 1st, you might be one of the three lucky winners who gt 50% discount on their covers. Click me!
