Hey, everyone, so who else missed me? You? Maybe you? Oh, who am I kidding?!
Anyway, to make that frown turn upside down (oh, a rhyme), I’m here with a review. My first ever beauty product review! L’Oreal Paris Nude Magique Blur Cream! The reviews should start from the basics, right? So, a primer! Read below and let me know (Oh, a rhyme), what you think about my first review ever. Ooh, I’m excited!
Let’s start from the start.
I did my first online shopping from Lootlo.pk, and got this primer and a few more make up goodies. At first, I hadn’t even heard about this blur cream (sue me), but when I used it, I fell in love. I’m going to be honest. I actually fell in love with this product. We’re getting married this Wednesday.
Just kidding! We’re only good friends. No hard feelings.
Anyway, let’s get on with it, shall we?
I just love the way it looks, first of all. The color is so pretty purple. I just love how cutely royal it looks!
Product Description
“Concentrated with light reflectors, the micro-blur technology delivers an optical blurring effect for smooth, poreless looking skin. The translucent coverage is silky smooth and evens out the look of skin tone.”
That is 70% true. It doesn’t provide a poreless skin, but, yeah it does minimize the pores. Not, completely, but enough to make a statement. It is smooth, but it turn watery once you start spreading it all over, but once blended, it looks really nice. And the skin tone does look pretty evened out, so that’s something, I guess.
Texture
It has a light, smooth texture that, when evenly blended, leaves the skin smooth, somewhat airbrushed and gives a perfect nude finish. It’s creamy, non-greasy, light weighted formula…just the way I like it.
Scent
Yep, it smells like a toilet.
Okay, fine, I exaggerated it a little. But still, it’s scent is not ideal, but then which primer has a perfumed scent? There you go! Now you understand.
Color
It’s nude. Blew your mind with so much information, didn’t I? 😉 It actually gets bright when you blend it.
How it Applies on the Skin
It starts of smooth, and then it feels all watery, but maybe it just the winter that absorbs all the product into my skin.
How it Looks on the Skin
Once, blended out with a beauty blender or a puff, the skin looks evened out, smoother and naturally healthy. It has a matte finish which is more natural, but if you spend more time with it under the sun, it’ll probably make you change your opinion about it being matte. It’ll get cake-y if not dried with tissue every fifteen minutes.
Longetivity
It actually stays there, but it gets heavy under the sun. It’s long lasting. I believe it looks much better in winter than in Summer. But that’s probably my opinion.
Results
At the end of the day, it looks a little cake-y than smooth and matte. If you use blotting sheets or tissue, it’ll probably look better. I believe this cream is more of a primer than a skin perfecter. It does make the skin look nice, but the make up lasts longer if worn over it.
Pros
-Protects skin from sun damage
-Light weighted
-Enhances skin’s natural light
-Sheer coverage
-Matte Finish
-A good primer
-Long lasting
Cons
-Smells like drugs (the ones you don’t get addicted to)
-gets a little greasy if spent more time under the sun
-A bit pricey for what it offers

My Verdict
I believe, this is more of a primer than a skin perfecter. Also, I like to wear it in Winters only, and it’s best if worn at nights. It’ll be long lasting and perfect looking, only if you avoid too much heat, and sun exposure.
Till next review, leave a comment. 🙂

Nuce review 🙂 I was planning on buying it but that ‘getting cake-y’ part didn’t appeal me much.
Thanks for being honest.
