Meet Mary-Lou Manizer, a seemingly innocent honey-hued luminizer that catches everybody’s eye. This highlighter, shadow and shimmer diffuses light so your skin looks softer and younger while adding a subtle glow.
Packaging: It’s looks luxurious and delicate when you first reach out for the compact. It comes in a square box and with a round compact in it. There is a considerate amount of product, which would last a long time even if it is used on a daily basis.
The idea of what it should look like seems very chic and upbeat. I love the packaging.
Quality: It has a smooth texture which is blend-able and easy to use.
It has golden undertones and would look very flattering on people with warm undertones. It isn’t over the top shiny but is great for a subtle and “natural” highlight. It doesn’t have a strong scent. The first thing I fell in love about this product is how incredibly smooth and creamy it is and how it doesn’t accentuate my pores. It is very pigmented and a little goes a long way.
How I use it: This is a multi-purpose product for me. I use it as a cheek, nose, cupid bow’s highlight (obviously), but it looks absolutely stunning on the eyelids with warm, matte brown smoked out corners.
As a highlight, it looks gorgeous on the cheeks when blended well (I use a fan brush). It looks subtle and not over the top, but enough to make you look glowy and a summer goddess.
Price and Availability: I got mine from Chic Bazaar for 2000 PKR! Yes, it’s original. This highlighter is now easily available on almost all online shops in Pakistan. You can easily get it for Rs 2400!
Will I buy it Again: Yes! But the question isn’t if I would buy it again. The question is, will I run out of it to think about buying it again? I hope I don’t break it, though!
Do I Recommend This: Yes! If you’re new to makeup and want to try a bomb highlighter, give this a try. If you have warm undertones, give this a try. If you want an awesome eyelid shade, give this a try. If you’re a pro and for some reason you haven’t tried it…we’re not friends anymore. Come on! This is a gorgeous highlight.
- Smooth texture
- Chic packaging
- Doesn’t accentuate pores
- Can be used as eyelid shade
- Looks natural
- Perfect for warm undertones
- Little goes a long way
- Wouldn’t look flattering on girls with cool undertones, comparatively
- Wouldn’t look flattering on dark skin tones
I wouldn’t let these cons bias my ratings because the way the trio was made, it’s obvious that for cool undertoned girls, they launched Cindy Lou-Manizer, and for dark skin toned girls, they launched Betty Lou-Manizer.
I rate it a 5 out of 5
Yes! I love it that much. What about you? Have you tried Mary Lou-Manizer by Thebalm?
